Big House Expense Number One this year is getting the house painted. When I got the inspection done on this house (about 3.5 years ago! Can you believe it?), they said the paint job was ok at that point, but that I should get someone to come and scrape and re-paint some parts in the back. I obviously never did that, and so they have obviously gotten worse. Mom apparently spends no time on my deck (which is a shame, because my deck is awesome, and John and I spend a lot of time out there. I suppose when the weather is nice, I'm more likely to venture out there because, really, a pool and a patio beat a deck anyday. Plus they feed me good food.), because every time I talk about the house needing a good paint job, she always says "but your paint looks fine!" So, here's a few samples of just a *few* of the problem spots on the back of the house.
In other news, I'm doing a Month of Mono in April (all my 365 photos for April will be in Black and White), and I'm excited.
