Announcement, and 2 very different Photowalks

The last two photowalks I went on were very different. Photowalk 23 took me to Hampton Hills Metro Park - a Metro Park that's actually nestled in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Photowalk 24 took me back on the Towpath Trail (remember, I biked it a few weeks ago), only this time I went on the downtown stretch, and I walked it.

I'm pleased with the photos from both walks, even though they're really different.

So, the announcement I wanted to make is that I "launched" iffles.com! Which basically means that I finished most of the coding and I actually wrote one entry. There will be more to come, and I hope to actually promote it a bit at some point, but if you're interested at all in some of my photo tips and tricks, feel free to follow along. I'll still continue with the same type of updates here as I have in the past, though.

Photowallk 21 & 22

Oh dear. I'm in the middle of editing Photowalk 23, when I realized I've been slacking over here posting the links for you guys. I tried to catch up with 2 other entries below, but here's some photowalk links, too.

So. "Photowalk" 21 was actually the rehearsal dinner at our friends wedding. If you're interested in seeing the ENTIRE wedding weekend, check out my collection of photos I took all weekend here. If you're only interested in the slideshow of the photowalk, which are my more "artsy" pictures, then you'll want to watch this.

My favorite photo from the entire weekend is probably this one, though:

It's not a high-quality photograph, or very professionally done. But it captured a moment between the two of them. And I liked that.

Anyway, on to Photowalk 22, which was actually a Photobike, I guess. I went biking on the Towpath Trail and took my camera with me and stopped a few places on the way back. It's not my best photowalk results, but they're not horrible, either. You can see that slideshow here.

A Day in the Life

On Sunday I did another Day in the Life project, where I take photos all day long of, well, a day in my life. A group of my photography friends that I've met over the internet do this all on the same day every once and a while, because we're dorks like that and think it's cool. I messed up and forgot to do it on Saturday when everyone else did, but a day late isn't too bad. If you're interested, the slideshow is here.

Itty Bitty Green Tomatoes

This photo was taken on Saturday and they've actually grown a lot since then. We also have pea pods on the pea plants. Nothing else is actually producing any veggies yet, though most of the stuff is still thriving. Not all, though.
