John and I have, so far, spent this three-day weekend doing all sorts of little projects around the house that we've been meaning to get done forever... I'll update on the house projects eventually (when I have before and after photos), but I figured something that was also being neglected was this blog!

I've made two Split Pea soups recipes so far this year. This one, from early March, is more traditional, but I also made one a week or two ago that had Meyer Lemon in it, which was a fantastic little twist.
