Hope everyone is having/had a great Thanksgiving, filled with yummy turkey, for those of you that do the turkey thing. I survived without it stuffed myself with: mashed potatoes, one of my favorite baked pasta dishes that John's brother made since I posted on facebook how much I liked it (win!), stuffing, vegetarian gravy, bread, green beans, and my "famous" marbled pumpkin cheesecake. I made it with Ghiradelli chocolate this year (I'm probably misspelling that, but I'm too lazy to google it), and wow, it added quite the "kick" of chocolate. I think I liked it, but it was definitely different.
In other news, we had a bit of a scare with Myles who had to spend a couple days in the kitty hospital. You probably don't want to know what was wrong with him, but we're now in the process of having to watch him carefully to make sure he's recovering ok and changing his entire diet (which means changing Maia's too, since it's impossible to keep them from eating each other's food). Poor guy still seems to be adjusting some, and Maia seems pissed to have him back, so it's been a fun week on the kitty front.
well, surprisingly enough, I really don't have much else to say, so here's some old photos.
