Katie's First Communion

WARNING: VERY photo-heavy entry. Please be patient as the page loads! Ok, people! I'm skipping ahead in my photo-posting-ness to give you Round One of First Communion Weekend (Round Two will be the Easter Egg Hunt). So, here's the deal:

1. I take 5.3 million pictures, I post the ones that I think came out well. I hope you agree.
2. You'll notice on some of the more "formal" shots, there's a lot of extra space. Just FYI, I do that on purpose because if you wanted prints of certain sizes (like, for instance, 8x10), you would have to crop the photo, so I give extra space for the cropping.
3. I'm labelling them all as 1 through however-many-there-are. If you want a larger digital copy (not recommended for printing, but fine for resizing and posting on your own facebook/blog/what have you, tell me the number in a comment, and I will send you a link!
4. If you want a print of any of the photos, let me know that, and what size. I want at least one, myself, and if I order from my usual place, I get a discount on multiples, so I will be happy to print them for you
5. If you want a full resolution digital file for printing yourself, I can arrange that, as well.

New blog style, and Thirsty Dog

I realize that you're all interested in photos of Katie's first communion, but I haven't even taken those photos off the camera yet, let alone edited and uploaded them, so instead you're getting some older photos from back in February.

You may also have noticed that I have redesigned the blog a tiny bit, just to allow me the space to post larger photos while still keeping the blog width a reasonable size for lower-resolution screens.

You can still get to the stuff that used to be in the side navigation (like the archive links), they're just now at the bottom, so you have to scroll down.
