It was a weird week at work, for reasons I don't feel like going into, and not much happened outside of work other than one big event - YPA celebrated their 10 year anniversary! They had a get-together at Greystone and even the Mayor showed up! Andrew had to do a little speech, too, since he's the president of YPA. Very exciting stuff. I got pictures, of course, which you'll probably see in about 6 months or so...
Fall is really in full swing now, I'm looking out the window of my office to the yellow leaves on the trees (and ground) and it's so pretty. Too bad they're also a pain in the ass to rake to the curb. (Although, I'm still incredibly thankful I only have to get them to the curb and not actually bag them. That was probably the least favorite thing my parents ever made me do as a kid. That and pit cherries. Although, I have a feeling I whined and complained more than helped...)
John and I are going to a halloween party next weekend and our costumes are almost ready. I have a feeling that most people reading this won't know who these people are, but he's going as Walter White and I'm going as Turanga Leela. And yes, I have a plan for her eye, it's the only part of my costume I still need to actually *do*, but there is a plan in place, which is something.
Anyway, let's see... where did I leave off with the photos... Ah, yes... most of these will be from our trip out to CT in mid July, totally different weather than the aforementioned autumn!

The lilies make me think of the sunroom at gramma's house.
