A hodge podge of photos

E has actually posted more than I have recently, which is so crazy, I felt I had to do something over here.

The easiest way for me to keep track of what photos I've posted over here is to go in the same order I have on my flickr account, so I apologize that the following is a hodge-podge of photos - mostly from December - even though I have yet to post Emma's baptism from September.

New Photo Collage
I liked the photo collage I made from mom last year (and a smaller one I made for E&R this year), that I decided I wanted one. This long, skinny one is perfect for a wall in my kitchen... all filled with photos I've taken!

DePhoMo11.01 - Maia
Maiacat. In person, I think Myles is the cuter cat, and the smarter one, by far. But Maia tends to be more photogenic

DePhoMo.02 - Wine
I love these wine glasses that mom & dad got for us from Mystic. I also love wine, so that works out nicely.

DePhoMo.03 - Yoshi playing Dominion
Yoshi likes to play dominion with us. He keeps buying copper, though. We tell him it's a bad strategy, that he's diluting his deck... but he never listens!

Christmas Tree
I specifically took this photo to prove to mom that I put a Christmas tree up this year... and then didn't post it until after Christmas. Oops.

Andrew at Lockview
This is my friend Andrew. He recently completed his Masters! So we went out to celebrate

Friends at Lockview
These are more friends celebrating!

DePhoMo.10 - Working Day
If you've ever wondered what my desk looks like as I edit photo after photo - this is it! That's Lightroom on the monitor - should have bought that program sooner, LOVE IT! And I was editing a photo of my coworker's adorable baby at the time this photo was taken.

Another shot of the necklace
John got me four gifts for Christmas, and this beautiful necklace was one of them.

Myles
Since I showed off Maia, I suppose I should include a picture of Myles, as well. He recently had an allergic reaction to something and had red spots all over his back and tail, and started losing his hair! It was so sad! He got a shot, but unless we figure out what he's allergic to (and get rid of it), chances are it will come back. Right now he seems pretty happy, though

Concerned iffles is concerned
Me! Making a crazy face, yeah... but that's normal, I suppose.

DePhoMo.14 - home for my feet
I got a pair of purple chucks this year and wore them pretty much every day while I still could. It's too snowy out now to wear them, but, come spring they will be a daily thing again, I'm sure.

DePhoMo.18 - 8 down...
Wrapping gifts. For some reason, I think I had more gifts to wrap this year than ANY OTHER YEAR. E having another kid was part of it, but also I got most people multiple small things this year instead of one big thing. That's a mistake I might not make again, because wrapping took forEVER.

DePhoMo.17 - The reason I put up a Christmas tree.
It's not really Christmas without at least one bokeh tree shot from me.

DePhoMo.20 - My latest obsession
I recently bought this cookbook and it is SO GOOD. It's organized by season, so you know you're always cooking with the freshest food possible. It's also completely vegan, and I think gluten-free, too, so it's funny that I find myself substituting more "normal" things back into recipes. For instance, I'll often take a chicken recipe and substitute in tofu, a meat recipe and substitute in beans. But now I'm taking a vegan recipe and replacing the coconut milk with regular milk. Or a gluten-free recipe and substituting tamari with regular soy sauce. Anyway, so far all the recipes I've made out of it are amazing! Like - mom, remember how much I loved meatloaf as a kid? Well, now I love Lentil Apple Walnut Loaf. It's much sweeter than meatloaf, but it's SO GOOD!

I may have to make a 3rd post today just so I can have the most recent one again!
