Nothing much

Not much going on here in Akron.

John and I didn't do anything for Easter, partly because we forgot it even was Easter and partly because John's been really sick. Looks like he's finally starting to get better today, which means I'm sure to catch it any day now.

I'm still enjoying my camera a lot. I recently got a gorillapod (you'll see it in a picture below), and have been planning my next purchases. What I want most are some good lenses, but the one I want the most is about $500. There's an $85 one I want, as well, but obviously not as much as the $500 one :). So, I think I'll make my next purchase a remote, as that's significantly cheaper than either of the lenses :)

I was thinking about getting a better flash at some point, which, while I'm sure it will increase the quality of my pictures, I'm still not overly excited about. But it did make me think of those old cameras we had as kids where you'd get that set of 10 flashes that would blow out as soon as you used it? So funny.

Anyway, I'll catch you up on some of my 366 pics (and others):

My street. That house on the left there is still for sale if anyone's interested :)

Feeding the cats tuna
This is what the cats do whenever I open up a can of tuna. (John took a pic with my camera! Mark it down, I think this is only the second time he's done it)

This spinach-stuffed manicotti was SO GOOD. The recipe is on my 101 blog.

THIS is a gorillapod. It's so that you can form whatever size/shape tripod you need anywhere. Like my head, for example.
